Oasis Collection - Apartments in Buenos Aires
Just returned from 6 days in an apartment in Buenos Aires using a new company Oasis Collections - https://www.oasiscollections.com so I thought I would share our experiences.
Although I had rented apartments in BA previously, I had not heard of Oasis. They were recommended to me via my membership of Accor Hotels loyalty club.
We chose to stay at The Aerie, a very large duplex apartment on Aráoz, in Palermo.
The online booking process was incredibly simple and efficient with my many questions being answered very quickly indeed. The apartment itself was as described . Very comfortable and spacious with fast wifi.Added extras included a concierge service for booking restaurants etc. welcome bottles of champagne and wine to accompany the platter of cold meats and cheese ( very welcome after a long trip) and use of a cellphone for our stay.
Use of our apartment also included membership of a private club in Palermo.
The included transport was ready and waiting to pick us up at EZE airport ( and to return us there) which saved a lot of hassle with taxis etc.
Barbara, our concierge was waiting at the apartment to settle us in and explain everything with lots of information on local restaurants, things to see and do. Many of which came with special discounts. A delightful lady to deal with throughout our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay and I would have no hesitation in using Oasis again in BA ( or indeed in any of the other cities in which they operate).Worth a look if thinking of a longer stay in BA.

Couldn't fault the service provided Scarlett. They certainly go the extra mile!
I had a fantastic time in your country AV, sadly all too short! When will we return? Not sure. We are currently debating on where our next jaunt may be. At the moment it is a toss up between Mexico and Central America or the Far East and New Zealand. The far south of your country ( and Chile) is also calling - one of the items on my bucket list is to travel the whole of Ruta 40 and the Panamerican Highway from north to south. I think we have done around half so far!
PS apologies for any typos. Just downloaded the new operating system for my iPad and teh new keyboard is causing a fw prblms!

Crellston, we were living in Oregon and my husband without me knowing it, had been doing a lot of reading about Buenos Aires. So we went on a holiday trip .. 2 weeks.
Through a series of amazing events, we ended up looking at real estate before we went back home and the rest is history- we moved there a few months later.
It is such a wonderful place , the people are so great and I loved the weather !
I am hoping to go back for a nice long visit soon .. having just moved into a new home .. it is hard to pick up and go to another place while still settling in to a new place . But I can't wait to go back and wander those streets and neighborhoods and sit in the parks and get my kisses whenever I see a friend or neighbor
