Need Advice About Reciprocity Fee

I recently paid my reciprocity fee online, but I wasn't near a computer to print it out. Now I have forgotten my password and can't get back to the form to print it out. I have called all the numbers on the website (which aren't in service) and emailed them (to no response). Who can I contact to get my password or to validate that I have paid the fee? I really don't want to pay $160 again and I leave in 7 days!

You seem to be in deep trouble, Ianmaster.

You have dared enter the impenetrable labyrinth of Argentine bureaucracy.

Dante put it this way, long ago: "lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate"

Ideas to try to help:

I assume you have tried recovering your password here, on the left side: https://virtual.provinciapagos.com.ar/ArgentineTaxes/

I also assume you have e-mailed (in Spanish, of course) [email protected] explaining your problem.

All this to no avail, of course.

If that is so, what if you do the following: tell your credit card not to pay this charge and do the whole thing all over again, making sure to print the form RIGHT AWAY?

Have a great time in our country.

I see you have asked the same question on TA.

I guess getting "yourself blocked from their payment system" is a possible risk, but I doubt their system is smart enough for that.

I don't know for sure whether or not the "Forgot password" option works.

It says: "You have to complete your username or email to get your password back."

Have a great time in our country.

God Lord, I think that avrooster got it right, you have no idea what bureaucracy can be,
it seems a good thing to pay again get the print out and then do not pay for the one you were unable to print. Is it a perfect solution,? probably not, but it has some logic.
At any rate you were awfully careless the first time, what were you thinking? Good luck.

Graziella5b: It seems Iainmaster got what he wanted on TA and won't be back here, even for a mere "thank you".

That's the trouble when people post the same question on several forums; they forget to come back and thank everyone.
