I have an opportunity to tag along on a business trip to Rio in October. I would have about a week after my husband wraps up work. I am just looking to get a sense of if I have a good plan, as it will be planned somewhat last minute. I was thinking to maximize our time by perhaps exploring Ilha Grande and Teresópolis. Seems like it would be too rushed to insert a flight or long bus/drive into such a short trip, and if we fall in love, we can come back next year and go further afield, but this would give us some nature and hiking, fairly low stress. Thoughts?
