Horse Riding and Bike riding

I'm keen to hear any experiences regarding horse riding or bike riding in Peru for families with kids (9,12)
Thanks in advance.

We went mountain bike riding with a company in Cuzco. Nothing too drastic though I managed to go right over my handlebars and land on my back. But that was only for a few hours after doing the Inca Trail.

The company was Amazonas Explorer. They were well organized and the bikes were good.

If you are based in Ollantaytambo rather than Cusco, you could try KB. They do a half day from Abra Malaga that is rated beginner on a paved road. You can also chose to ride along.
