Flight from Santiago to Calama - How much time to allow?
We will be flying into Santiago in early February and connecting immediately to a flight to Calama, en route to Atacama. Our flight to Santiago is scheduled to get in at 9:15 a.m. Can we safely book an 11:00 a.m. departure to Calama? Thanks.

Where are you flying from? Domestic flights within South America are notoriously unreliable, international flights less so. I had one flight changed 7 or 8 times a
AND rerouted in the couple of months before departure.
If you were flying on the same ticket and bags, if any, were checked through, you may be ok but I would prefer a bit more of a buffer. Last time w3 flew through Santiago , I think we had around 4hours layover

We are arriving in Santiago from Miami, arriving (hopefully) about 9 a.m.
We will need to go through passport control and claim bags before checking in for our domestic flight to Calama - am hoping a 2-hour window is adequate - thoughts?
