Fifteenth

On this fifteenth anniversary of Sept. 11, my heart goes out to my many great friends in the US.

PS-- AV, thank you for your advice of a year or two ago to travel by LATAM rather than Aerolineas Argentinas. I spent most of the day Friday trying unsuccessfully to pay for a ticket on AA. I just booked on LATAM and paid US$10 less. I'll probably have to pay some more because I'll have excess luggage, but that's O.K.

So, to fly from Jorge Newberg to Puerto Iguazu, should I be at the airport four hours early? I'll have to make arrangements to pay the overage.

BTW--I went home Friday nite somewhat depressed about the failure to pay, and went to a classical violin/piano recital Saturday evening in which the encore was Gardel's Por Una Cabeza. I took that as an omen that my trip to Argentina would go very well.

For local flights, I'd say two hours ahead should be enough. If you tend to worry, make that three.

You can check the status of your flight here:

Don't forget to go to the Evita Peron Museum.
It is her home, the music is wonderful, the rooms and location are great and you can sit in the garden and have a lovely meal at the cafe .. all within the walls of the property .. Right in Palermo Botanico.
