Estancia La Bamba

Hi, does anyone if Estancia La Bamba is open again or will be soon?
We noticed on their website they are closed for refurbishment till september, (that message not been removed yet although September)

We are planning to go to an Estancia for a day in October, but would like to get an idea of costs first. We have written to them but to no reply as yet.
Have heard very good reviews about them but may have to rule them out if we don't get a reply from them.

Thanks

As to the date that they thought they would be finished with the remodel...
I have yet to see anything come in on time, be finished or even be started when a date was given. With all the other aspects of life here especially on a campo, I would think the opening date might be more flexible, as in a month or more.
They do suggest this alternative though..

Yes, Los Dos Hermanos is a popular estancia also.
As well as El Ombu and Santa Susana ..

dm066: there are several kinds of estancias. If you wanted the activities La Bamba offers, you most likely do NOT want the ones offered at Santa Susana.

I suggest you tell us what you want from your estancia stay, so we can help you choose.

The La Bamba website now says it is closed until November.

Have a great time in our country.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies sorry about the reply from myself.

We have yet to decide which one to go to, but we have decided to do a day trip rather than stay overnight, we think the overnight maybe too expensive for what you get for it.

The things that we want from our visit;
1. see some farming (horses/cattle) activity.
2. Good.. local food/experience.
3. Perhaps horse riding
4. Relaxation - we will have a lot of travelling to do so will be nice to relax

We were thinking of going on Friday,
Los Dos Hermanos seems to be the favourite at the moment
