Connecting flight in EZE
Hi Everyone, I hope you can help me.
This is my situation:
I have a ticket from NYC- EZE arriving a 4:15 am and then I'm taking a flight at 6:45 am to Sao Paulo. I bought them with different airlines (Aerolines Argentinas - Gol) but I thought that I could just transit if I did the check in online for the second flight, my mistake, cause that is only possible for local flights. Therefore I'm worried that 2:30hrs wont be enough time.
Can anyone tell me how is the flow, security, customs, structure or any tips so that I dont miss my flight.
Is the airport very big?, Is it very busy at 4:25am?
PS. I wont be carrying lugagge
Thanks

avrooster is, of course, right, but for your second question you might find this site instructive: http://www.flightstats.com/go/Flight...usByAirport.do

I can't see where this will work well. As avrooster says, you'll have big problems if your incoming flight is late. If you don't get to your Gol flight in time, they have no obligation to help you, because your have this itinerary on separate tickets. Gol will see you as a no show and cancel your ticket. Aerolineas won't help you either; all they are obligated to do is get you to EZE.
The airport is very large, with Gol and Aerolineas in separate terminals. You will have to go through customs and immigration when you arrive, make your way to the other terminal, check in at the Gol counter, go through security, and make your way to the gate.
Gol will have a minimum check-in time. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it will be at least one hour (if not more) before departure.
That hour of the morning sounds like it would be dead, but many of the flights to Argentina are overnight flights that arrive very early in the morning. I can't tell you anything about those specific hours, but it could be a bottleneck in immigration and customs when you arrive as a wave of big flights come in.
Because you will officially enter Argentina, you will have to pay the $160 reciprocity fee that Americans are charged. You have to pay that online before you travel.

Thanks you all for your help, I'm still trying to figure out what to do. So far I found than:
1) both flight arrive and depart from the same terminal.
2) The NYC flight is the first flight arriving at that time follow by 3 flights.
3) Statistics show that this flight normally arrive 30 min earlier.
4)Gol check in closes 1hr before the flight.
Any comments on the flow in security and everything in terminal A?
Thaks
