CATA or CHEVALLIER busline-BA to MENDOZA

I know that the first class on Sendas and Andesmar is good, but seats aren't available on-line yet. However, they are on Cata and Chevallier for the same price. Anybody know anything about first class sleeper seats on these two lines? Thanks

We traveled with a few different bus companies while in Argentina and all seemed pretty equivalent in what they offered. I wouldn't worry too much about booking ahead--we bought tickets same day and our buses were usually only half full.

CATA is better. They do international trips to Chile and their buses are better.

Katrinab, are there many fist class sleepers on each bus? I'm a bit worried about not booking in advance.
But it's good to know that many buses were only half full.

Availability depends on the time of year and destination. Half empty buses at one time of year will be sold out at another. There is a service called Omnilineas which will book tickets for you for a small surcharge, but you have to pick them up at their office in BA.
