We were in Palermo last xmas and it was very quiet on Christmas Day. It seemed like most places were closed. 24th and 26th were almost like normal days. We just went for a walk in a nearby park and had Christmas lunch in our apartment.

Christmas Day really turns BA into a ghost town. You will no doubt enjoy the walking and sightseeing , which can be very pleasant when there isn't the usual amount of traffic. You just will not find many places open to go inside.
Check with your hotel to see about meals and if they have a list of places open. Which might boil down to mostly only hotel restaurants .. Cabaña las Lilas might not be worth it if they gave it away ..

Hi Scarlet not really. Main purpose is to visit our grandchildren. Today there is a Christmas Fair here in the Talar de Pacheco with great items locally made. All earnings if for helping people . So I have been giving a hand with the children who are delighted attending the food stand. Have a great time.
