Has anyone had an experience booking with brazilnuts? are they good?

I was going to do a booking with them (Brazil Nuts) but changed my mind when it appeared they were not being correct with regard to matching a price I received from a Brazilian company in Manaus (Amazonas by Viverde) for a jungle lodge.
When I presented the price I received from Viverde they lowered theirs but not close enough and said that such lower prices would not include some sort of extra taxes. I checked this out and it did not seem to be true. (Please note that I am being careful as to the words I choose).

I did book with Viverde and all went well however I won't know for sure until January when we go there !
