Brazil for a beginner...general questions
Planning a trip for this coming July/August and considering Buenos Aires, Argentina & Brazil (somewhere with a beautiful beach).
- what is the temperature typically in both areas in July & August?
-Is Rio a must when wanting to be on a beach in Brazil or are there other areas you would recommend?

I've used www.brol.com on three occasions to procure my airline tickets as well as a Brasil Pass. ...great company out of Miami.
In 2003 when I went to Carnaval, I purchased a package deal and extended my stay without paying additonal money for my air. My friend and I shared a hotel room during this special, special event; then the day afterwards we had our own separate hotel room. I only mention this because our changing things which were not part of the package cost additional fees, but nothing extra was charged of us.
This company also sponsors special tours, too!
