Argentina in late September?
I am planning on going for a 2 week trip to Argentina in late September with my boyfriend--any suggestions on where we should focus our quick vacation--looking for real experiences and lots of culture--not so touristy?
Also, weather wise--what are the te\mps like?

temperatures should be comfortable, maybe a little cold...
that's a really good time to be in BA, as there are a lot of things going on and a lot of people in the city. other suggestions would include Bariloche (though that would be colder) or Iguazu, which is ALWAYS a good place to choose.
let me know if you need anymore help...
Cheers!

lynds, September is a great time for the NW of Argentina, and the mos incredible sceneries you never imagined!!!!!
The NW has great weather also in August, Marija, and at leastr four days are necessary to see the Salt Flats, Purmamarca, Tilcara and Cafayate which are the MUST SEE.
The culture of the NW is also different the music here is not tango, not at least the msot popular, but the folk music! You can see people dancing at the PEÑAS, restaurants with show where you can eat empanadas drink some beer or wine...
Make yourown research if you want and I feel at the end you will choose this wonderful part of the country.

Another vote for the north west. It is also difficult not to be overwhelmed by Iguazu. If you are into wildlife tehn a trip to teh Valdez Peninsular to see the whales (from the beach as well as a boat, although it is a long way to go as is El Calafate and teh glaciers which we missed. Here is laing to the blog of our time in Argentina for some photos which may help in making a decision:
