Yeah, even though I do live at a fairly high altitude (6000 ft) it was a little over 11,000 ft that I had my one bout of altitude sickness (backpacking); I am going to prepare for it as best I can and be happy if I am not affected!

Just started exploring as we will be coming mid March for our first visit. I have spent a great deal of time in The Sierra Maderest about 7,700 feet & my Cardiologists (Triple by pass 2003) who has been to Cusco thinks I will be fine. Just curious how many others with the Frankenstein chest scar have been there?
