Airfare - NY to Buenos Aires
My husband and I are planning a trip to Argentina in November. Right now the non-stop fares are about $1400 and the one stop fares are about $1250. We don't ordinarily buy tickets this far in advance, but we would consider it if this is a good fare. Any thoughts? Thanks

Carriers always do sales and drop their prices in August usually wait till then for November. My wife and I recently got 2 free with aa.com Citi AAdvantage Credit Cards 40000 points each total 80000 points and cheap free flights you have time to do that. lan.com and taca.com also for fall sales. So better deals ahead probably. kayak.com/buzz cheapoair.com farecompare.com and airfarewatchdog.com all good sites to monitor to save.
Good luck!

I disagree -- I don't think there is any way to know when an airline will drop a fare or have a sale. it all depends upon their inventory. I had been watching a fare that was ~$1200 and yesterday dropped to ~$800 --this is for late September.
