Greetings! My boyfriend and I are planning a trip for Argentina in November. We are not set on our dates yet but I am beginning to check airfare.

Is typical fare from Portland, OR to BA $1100+?! That seems high. Is there a time of year that fares typically dip from the west coast to BA?

Our airfare ( 2 of us ) from PDX to Houston to EZE last Oct/Nov was $1200 each.

We're paying $1200 per person for a late July flight from LAX, however it is NOT a non-refundable ticket. There is only a $200 refund penalty and a $25 date change. We thought it worth the extra $s to have that flexibility. Good luck.

Well, at least I can prepare myself for the expense over the next few months!

Can I say it again, check a wholesaler they offer great buys often, Aerolineas Argentinas, and Lan Argentina are good options in my experience too.

Those are both airlines, right?
