2weeks in Argentina
we (4 travelers) are planning a 2week trip to Argentina in May. This is new and unknown territory for us who have travelled for 20 years in Europe. We are thinking of 5 days in Buenos Aires and the remaining 10 days exploring other areas - any suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The Iguazú Falls, our NW and Mendoza would be good areas to explore at that time of the year, which is our fall.
I suggest you look at this recent LONG trip report, which covers those areas: http://www.fodors.com/community/sout...a-beginner.cfm

Have a great time in our country and keep the questions coming, Sophia12!

I think, Sophia, you should consider the possibilities to see the NW of Argentina which is, still, (more)unknown... Theprovinces of Salta and Jujuy have a lot to offer to visitors with a different interests... Amazing sceneries, architecture, great museums, cathedrals, delicious wines, great food, fantastic weather... places for trakking and adventure...

Another vote for Salta, we loved it so much the first time we are heading back next month. Mendoza didn't do it for me but others have loved it there. Iguazu is one of the wonders of the world and only needs a couple of days.
