Del Mar vs Solana Beach
Hi
From what I can gather these places are virtually next door to each other.
Looking at condos in either area - which would you go for? We want a really nice, safe and pleasant community, with restaurants and a nice beach.

Both cities are nice and safe, but I would pick Del Mar over Solana Beach. If you get tired of the restaurants in Del Mar, you can always go to nearby La Jolla. Del Mar caters more to tourists, IMO. I love the drive on Torrey Pines Road from La Jolla to Del Mar.
