Hi all. It is my sister's bday this weekend. She lives Plano area. Want to take her to a fun, happening place where people dress up a bit, kind of a date type place, that has great food and won't break the bank. Preferably kind of new. She hasn't been out in a while and want to take her some place new and special. Any ideas???

A year or so ago we went to Sullivans. Food was pretty good and they had a lve Jazz band. It's somewhere near the tollway and Franfurt from what I recall.
ChristiP knows a lot about this sort of stuff... maybe she will chime in.

Sullivan's sounds like a great idea. It's a very popular place, although I haven't been there myself. It is on the southbound service road of the Dallas North Tollway between Frankford and Trinity Mills.

If you are looking to kick up your heels a little, you might check out Carsons Palace, www.carsonspalace.com. I've partied there and had a great time, then gone back and had dinner and was surprised at how good it was.
