Hotels Near Annapolis, MD

I will be in Annapolis, MD over the Columbus day weekend 2025 for a wedding.

Hotel prices in Annapolis are very expensive due to the holiday weekend.

Looking for recommendations to stay at a hotel outside of Annapolis that are more reasonable proceed but not too far away.

Any suggestions?

I took a quick look on Google Maps. Yikes! Prices are Ri-DIC-ulous.

I see that there is a Red Roof Inn available for $!20 night (before tax). That is the best you can do right now. Nearby the Julep restaurant is very good. Their blackberry chipotle chicken is worth an exclamation point or two.

Thanks for your response. Yes...prices are crazy....We don't mind staying in a nearby town.... wouldn't mind a 30-45 drive into Annapolis for the wedding.

Look in the Parole area. The Courtyard was our stay during our daughter’s Annapolis wedding a couple of years ago. Also, look at BWI hotels. The drive isn’t bad.
I don’t think they’ll be any cheaper, but if you think you found a place on the Eastern Shore, consider that bridge traffic can be really bad.

If you Google 'annapolis hotels' quite a few reasonably priced ones come up. They are where Birdie suggests in Parole. Is the wedding downtown?

I don't know what you are expecting, but I see several hotels around $210 a night or so, which isn't outrageous to me for a city like that. Like the Doubletree or Hampton Inn, which are about 7 miles west from the center. I never thought of Columbus Day as any major holiday except in areas like Vermont for leaf peeping.
