I’m after beachside destinations in Europe that are busy but not overpopulated, any suggestions?

You have enquired on Portofino, Singapore, Mallorca, the South of France, and beaches in general, with a one and four year old. Perhaps you should get a guidebook (or four) and come up with a plan that is less spread out and vague. Where are you coming from? How long is your vacation? Budget?

Maybe Minori or Cetara on the Amalfi coast? Both would serve family needs well.

Paphos, Cyprus is a beach destination in Cyprus with a rich history, less crowded than the beaches in the east of the island.

My suggestion is to ask this question on the Europe forum (if you haven't already)

These are a couple of suggestions from me.

1. Vlorë, Albania
2. Piran, Slovenia

There will not be any great beach towns in Europe that are not crowded in summer, although I have never been to Albania, or to Montenegro

Are you looking for a city beach, like Valencia or in Sardinia? Cefalu, Sicily??

How abut a town on the Costa Brava..I'd love that myself!!!
