Effect of El Nina August/September 2024?

Hi there! We are thinking of traveling for 3 weeks through Costa Rica starting sometime mid-August, but we could also start in September. We have read about El Nino and El Nina influences in Costa Rica this year (less rain, wildfires) and are wondering if there is someone local who could put this in perspective. How much have these phaenomena affected the country and what should we expect. Will the landscape in August/September be drier than usually or is the lush green that is descirbed for the rainy season intact? Is perhaps more rain expected that usually? Is wildlife like turtles arriving to Tortuguero or other animals in the national parks affected? What about the forecasted cyclones (first one apparently in July), are they something to worry about?
