Looking for a fun island for a group of 25-31 year olds!
Im trying to plan a trip for this time next year with maybe 10 friends. Looking for something with :
1. Great beaches
2. Great views (mountains, rainforests)
3. Lively hotel (music at pools at beaches, and swim up bars)
4. Some adventure (hikes to waterfalls, watersports)
5. Not too expensive
6, Limited children
7, Friendly people to meet and hang out with
8. Nightlife (but not club scenes, more like fun bars on the beach with dancing)
Hope we aren't being too picky!

SVG is definately for you. I would base yourself on Bequia, during the busy season (around Nov to April). Has beautiful beaches (Google Lower Bay, Princess Margaret Beach, Industry Bay). Plenty of low-key nightlife with a whole calender of things going on (Google Bequia This Week). For the lively hotel, the Frangipani has a 'Jump up' every Thursday (BBQ and steel band playing). Prices to suit most people. Very Friendly crowds of visitors, expats and locals. For adventure take yourself off to Tobago Cays for some great snorkeling and visit Saint Vincent (1 hour ferry ride) and hike up Mount Soufrieri (Volcano), trek up the Vermont Nature Trail where you might catch sight of the St. Vincent Parrot. Take a drive through the Mesopotamia Valley and forest. From Bequia take a hop over to Mustique where you might catch sight of Tommy Hilfiger or Bryan Adams or even Mike Jagger (all who have homes there). Pop over and see little Mayreau spend some time at Saltwhistle Bay then visit Robert Righteous Rasta bar. I think that might cover what you're looking for. Enjoy

or Similar best vibe for what you want
luxurylink.com other options
I really like Round Hill
might be a little quiet for you guys.
spirit.com cheapest flights down for a crowd from FLL.
SVG would be a poor choice for you harder to get to expensive
party scene far less some of the Grenadines are nice
but St Vincent is poverty stricken and poor beaches.

It should be Jamaica! Our last trip there was the best so far.
We stayed at Lemer Luxury Villas - http://lemerluxuryvillas.com
-Private, laid back setting
-Beautiful ocean and sunset views from the balcony of the villas
-Refreshing pool
-owners are great! They cook and will even teach to cook real jamaican food.
-Watersports activities such as snorkeling
-night clubs are just a taxi away or you can hire private driver
-great choices of restaurant down the road
That's only onsite. For offsite expedition, Negril has numerous attractions, resorts/hotels, and tours...as well as other places in Jamaica.
You can do the ff exciting tours:
-YS falls - http://www.ysfalls.com/
-Blue hole - http://blueholejamaica.ning.com/
-Martha Brae river rafting - http://www.jamaicarafting.com/
-More options - http://yourjamaicantourguide.com/jam...-entrance-fees

Has anyone stayed at any of the Breezes all inclusive resorts in Jamaica? If so, which one and what did you think?
How's the diving in Jamaica? Snorkeling? Water/beaches in general?
Have heard some rumors of crime or it is unsafe in Jamaica? Can anyone comment on this?
We are looking for something very similar to Curacao where we stayed at the Breezes there. It was great. Want to find same, but new Caribbean Island. Must be all inclusive.
Wide open to suggestions...favorite islands anyone? Must include dive/snorkel, natural/history type areas to explore, be safe, not too touristy--like an area where you can visit the city for that, but still have peace and quiet when you choose it. Going with friends. We are all 40-45 in age, but young at heart! Not into huge party nights, but drinks and local culture or entertainment is great.
Love visiting with the natives and seeing what their country is like rather than visiting trinket shops designed for tourists. Thanks for the input.

"Love visiting with the natives"
Could you please stop calling the local population 'natives'?
Do you not see how this could be construed as offensive?
To the OP
I'm with suze - Negril would be perfect for you. I bet you'll find it very hard to leave the beach.
