Advice on train travel in Andalucia

Hello all, we are trying to book a train ex Seville to Cordoba on the Renfe website and when we try to select the option of Cordoba as a destination, Cordoba Central does not come up as an option. Where are we going wrong?

On the Renfe website put in Córdoba-Julio Anguita, no longer "Córdoba Central" (the official name now changed).
Cordoba has only one station unlike Sevilla and Madrid.
The name was changed last year to honor the former mayor.

Thanks both, do we need to book ahead for train travel from Seville to Cordoba, then on to Granada, and then to Malaga for next week and the week after or can we book as we go along?

And the Holy Week processions of Sevilla, Granada and Málaga are designated as fiestas of "International Tourist Merit" and Córdoba of "National Tourist Merit" and those cities will be packed with visitors.

Thanks, we have quickly booked Seville to Cordoba and Cordoba to Granada, but it seems Granada to Malaga doesn't have any availability by train on 10th April, so we will likely have to take the bus. Any recommendations for where we can pre-book bus tickets for this route (online, if available)?

Whilst you're near Malaga don't miss out on a visit to Nerja - it's beautiful!

patriciabrogan,
Book your Granada to Málga bus tickets NOW at https://www.alsa.com/en
I checked for a random date during Holy Week and some departures have no seats available. But plenty of departures on that route, taking from 1 hour 30 min. to 2 hours, depending.

"Operation exit" for Holy Week began this afternoon and everyone is on the move!
