Positano Itinerary Help Needed

Hi,
We will be in Positano for 4 full days early June with a car. We will be staying in Hotel Villa Franca Positano. So far I made this itinerary... Anything I am missing or need to remove. The # of days are firm.

DAY 1
Via Fornillo streets - Upper Positano path
Via Cristoforo Colombo - Mid Positano path
Fornillo Beach

DAY 2
CAPRI
Boat from Spiaggia Grande
Chairlift in Anacapri
La Fontelina beach club
Bagni di Tiberio

DAY 3
Hike Agerola → Nocelle - “Sentiero degli Dei → Nocelle”
Nocelle village

DAY 4
Boat along Amalfi coast
- Fiordo di Furore
- Conca dei Marini
- Amalfi town
- Atrani

Maybe Santa Croce Beach or Arienzo Beach Club

FYI in high season, the Amalfi Coast limits non-resident car travel depending on your license plate. They have been doing this for the last 3 or 4 summers and I suspect it will continue.

This means, on off days, you will not be able to drive every day.It is also not advisable to drive around around the AC as these villages are extremely tiny and available parking is near impossible.

Use ferries. They do not have any car ferries, or not as available as other areas - the towns do not have the capability for this.. Google Sorrento Insider for a comprehensive info on how to get around the area.

Book AC lodging early. February might be too late for a June trip.

Note that there steps a plenty around these towns. If any on this trip have mobility issues, steps will be present, especially in Positano.

FYI, you have a LOT of threads currently. We do not operate like TA, and while it made sense at the start of your planning, it is starting to get very flooded with the multiple threads you have. Maybe it would make sense to have mods start to combine your threads.

I get what you are saying. If you look at my itinerary, I am actually not driving at all. 2 days of boat trip. 1 day walking. 1 day taxi to the hike and taxi back.

4 days is already a small amount of time in my opinion, but it looks like a good plan. Do you arrive early in the morning on the first day? Because if not, you will basically have half a day for Positano, and it's a pity in my opinion. I don;t think you are missing something (for the amount of days you are going), but in case you want to search a bit more there are some blogs for Positano and the day trips with boat that you can check out, that we have used for our trip here , here , here and here

I was planning to get a boat with a skipper for 1/2 to Capri. Should I go by ferry instead and enjoy land vs the sea?

You could also get a driver to take you to Positano. Especially parking is an issue. The Amalfi coast by boat will be stunning. The ferry to Capri is easy and the land part of Capri is nice to explore. If you wanted to rent a boat https://bluestarpositano.it/ is a great company that could take you around d the Amalfi coast. They know great swimming spots, grottos and places to eat.

Private/small boatr via GetYourGuide/Viator will get you a good mix of land/water.

Consider taxi up to Ravello and hike back down to the sea.
