Visiting Kanab in Oct to see some slot canyons. Trying to figure out whether you need a guide for peekaboo canyon, buckskin gulch, Great chamber. We plan on renting a 4x4 lifted Jeep, but don’t know how hard it is to locate these slots. Any advice??

Peekaboo slot canyon is in Escalante--which is a ways from Kanab. But its on a decent road. (and has a number of slot canyons accessible from that road) Buckskin Gulch is right outside Kanab--easy to to get to. I don't know about Great Chamber. All of these are accessible with a front wheel drive car. It helps to have something with some clearance--so rent an SUV. There are companies that say "no dirt roads' but I can assure you, I see rentals on dirt roads all over southern Utah.
