Winter park, CO in June with 4 teenagers

Hi all, We are driving from Wisconsin to Winter Park, CO in June with 4 teenagers. Some love to hike, some love the shopping and want to take pictures. We are staying at an Airbnb but would love any and all suggestions. Lots to do it looks like at Winter Park resort. Any thoughts on a guided overnight hike? How worth is it to drive to another big ski town for the 2 who are less adventurous? Any fun restaurants that are a must?
Thanks!

How long will you be in Winter Park?
We know it quite well. Have had a home there since the 70s.

What part of the area are you staying in?

Don't know of any overnight guides, though.

Best pizza anywhere is at Hernando's in Winter Park. Avoid rush hours, as it gets swamped. Maybe not too much in June.

Steamboat Springs is a bit less than 2 hour drive, in good conditions. It's pretty if you want to go there, but really not that much different from Grand County.

I'd suggest you day-trip to Grand Lake, only about 45 minutes away. It's fun to rent a boat at Shadow Mountain Lake, which you can take into Grand Lake, also.
Be sure to eat a meal on the front porch of the venerable Grand Lake Lodge. Amazing view of the lake, especially at sunset.

Also, Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA of the Rockies has horseback riding, hiking, mini-golf, and a snack shack. It's low-key, but fun. Less expensive than other ranches.

Devil's Thumb Ranch is spectacular for a visit. All the outdoor activities you'd want, in a gorgeous setting. Very nice spa, too. The Ranch House Restaurant is open to the public. Kinda pricey, but perfect for a special event. The Saloon is open to the public, also.

The ski area will have different activities, and I'm sure you've checked for special events in Grand County.

What else?
