Our tour company just informed us they cannot book our pre-stay for the night of Saturday, May 20. We are four adults. Everything I have looked at so far is $$$$. Are there any locations outside of touristy area that would be price wise more reasonable that we would be able to reach by tram? Suggestions????

You say outside the touristy area, what do you mean? Where is it you want to stay?

Uhm no. That's London. We don't have campuses. The old Casa400 was something like that, but no more. I often book one-nights in Amsterdam and it's a lottery. Hence my Volkshotel tip. It's not slumming and it is faintly affordable and on a good metro stop. I'd also go for Haarlem tbh. Or Zaandam even.

Another option is to take the direct #397 bus from Schiphol that goes directly to both Museumplein and Rijksmuseum. Super convenient for your location! https://www.connexxion.nl/nl/onze-ro...irport-express
