Osa Peninsula Itinerary

Our family of 4 is looking at spending 10 days in Costa Rica next March. Thinking of spending our entire trip in the Osa Peninsula for a good mix of jungle/water adventures. Would love some input on this itinerary!

Night in San Jose
San Jose to Drake Bay (fly/boat?)
4 nights Drake Bay -- Drake Bay Wilderness Resort
3 nights Cabo Matapalo -- Lapa Rios (private transport?)
Jimenez back to San Jose (fly)
Night in San Jose

Costa Rica is so diverse; personally I wouldn't spend all ten days on the Osa, but up to you and what works best for you. Most people stay about four nights there and then go to other areas. The Osa has great wildlife, but it's pretty isolated. The place where we stayed didn't even have locks on the doors.
