Travel to Egypt
Thinking about a trip flying into Cairo for tourist enjoyment. My main concern is safety, should this be reason enough not to go? I am thinking about mid- November leaving from Miami, Fl to London then to Cairo. Thank you for any suggestions.

A woman on my own in Egypt for 3 weeks, no difficulties or danger that I was aware of. The biggest danger is not giving yourself enough time to see more of the country than just Cairo. Go on to Luxor & Aswan at very least.

What shoes do you recommend for Egypt? I was planning to take sandals but now I’m thinking maybe sneakers would be better in the sand....

Bring both, I did, you'll use them. Always best to have a choice.
