Looking for hiking options in Norway. Suggestions for other must do options also welc
We will be on a cruise along the coast of Norway, so at each port we will have 5 or 6 hours to explore.
We are both in our mid 60s, but in reasonably good shape and we do regularly hike 5 - 10 miles here at home.
We will not have a car at any of these locations, so we are looking for suggestions that are walkable from town. While we are mostly thinking of hiking, we do welcome other suggestions of things we should consider doing.
Haugesund
Eidfjord
Bergen
Flam
Geiranger
Molde
Honningsvag
Stavanger

Bergen: do the trail between Mount Ulriken and Mount Fløyen. You can take a cable car to the top of Ulriken and then enjoy a great hike to Fløyen with a panorama of Bergen from the finish point.
Stavanger: if you have the entire day, go to Preikestolen. It's has a paved road with sherpa steps to the top. Start as early as possible to avoid tourist crowds.

The local boat tour of Geiranger Fjord stops on the return at the foot of a cliff which has midway a historical farm from which one can hike back to Geiranger. I suspect that you are fit enough to do it, but I do not know if your stop is long enough to do the hike.
