trip to northern arizona and utah in march 2018
We are planning a spring break trip to Arizona and utah.
first day-arrive phoenix airport, go to Sedona. see famous chapel south of Sedona.
2d day-go to grand canyon, stop at native american ruins on the way.
3d day-go to monument valley.
4th and 5th day-to Moab to see arches and canyonlands.
6th night-go to salt lake to catch a plane the next day.
any recommendations for things not to miss, particularly in Sedona, canyonlands or arches?
thanks for any help.....

This sounds like a very fas trip, but if it is all the time you have, then go for it.
You don't have enough time to really explore the areas, Monument Valley should not take a whole day, see the sights and head up to Moab.
In Arches I would say, visit the quick arches, like the Windows, Turret Arch etc and walk out in Devil's Garden at least to Landscape Arch and if you have time hike up to Delicate Arch.
In Canyonlands visit Island in the Sky District and hike out to Mesa arch and around Grandview at least. You probably don't have time to get down to Needles District. If you click my name and look at my public profile, you can scroll down to several TRs from the area. If photos help with deciding, I have some at www.flickr.com/photos/emalloy2009
Fill your gas tank when it gets to a half, carry water and snacks, and try not to drive after dark because hitting a deer, elk, cow or horse would really ruin your day and I've seen all of them out on the roads in the area.

Just make sure you are not in Moab around March 31--because that is Easter weekend and will hit the Jeep week crowd. It takes about 4 hours from Moab to SLC. You don't want to drive that road in the dark if you don't have to--deer crossing etc. (I have even seen a moose along the road north of Price!) So you might want to plan on leaving Moab by 2 or so--depending on sun set.
