Tour de France in Burgundy
For those who planned to follow the Tour next July, here is the itinerary in Burgundy given in my local newspaper:
http://www.bienpublic.com/actu/regio...3.BPA0092.html
If you'll be watching TV at that time, don't miss la Rochepot castle tiled roof, Semur-en-Auxois and Chateauneuf-en-Auxois.

Oh thanks coco! I am an avid Tour de France spectator via the TV - get my map out, highlight all the roads so I can see at a glance where the riders they are.
I cannot read French well but will pick out the names of the villages from the newspaper article you posted and take it from there. Thanks again.

I just looked on the Tour de France website:

and saw that the Tour de France starts in London this year! That's bizarre! I kind of thought that by definition it should take place in France!
Have parts of the Tour taken place in other countries before?
