Torrey is really the best place for Capital Reef. You should be able to find rooms as the Chuckwagon Inn--or whatever name it is. Also, I have a friend who has a VRBO rental in Teasdale #413106. (Teasdale is 2 miles from Torrey) I have stayed there with my family. It is really, really nice. You could cook there if the restaurant pickings are slim. They also have a washer and dryer which is nice on an extended trip with family.

Since I am visiting quite a few places including Canyonlands, Arches, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion; I need advise if visiting Capital Reef is worth visiting and spending 1 day there. I can use this 1 day additional in Zion or plan for any ski-place.

Taking a day away from Capital Reef and going skiing instead is not really feasible since wherever you go skiing is going to require at least a 3 or 4 hours driving detour provided the roads are good plus, I assume you would have to take time to rent gear. Not much time left to ski. Also, the areas nearby are not that great. Adding a day at Zion makes sense but you might also want to consider taking time to stop at Goblin Valley on the way to Moab or just not doing an overnight at Torrey but just do a quick viewing of the area on your drive from Bryce to Moab.

If you really just want to say you skied in Utah, then go to Brian Head--it is between Zion and Bryce. To maximize it, you would leave Zion at 3:00 or so and get to Brian Head. Rent gear that night for the next day. Stay overnight in Brian Head. Ski the next day, stay overnight at Brian Head. Go to Bryce the next day after that. There is one day skiing. *I* wouldn't do that but I get it--sometimes we just have something on our bucket list that we have to do.
Driving to Torrey would totally depend on the weather--is Boulder Mountain closed? You could certainly drive through it. The drive from Escalante to Boulder is amazing. But I wouldn't do it if the weather was bad--e.g. snowing heavily, bad ice on the roads. You may luck out and have bluebird clear skies. You just never know.

Those are the only 2 ski resorts in Southern Utah. I have never skiied at either one because I live in northern Utah. Check out the skiutah website. You can get lots of info on the resorts and their amenities, # of runs, chair lifts, lift prices etc etc.

Are you planning on staying at Eagle Point and driving to Brian Head? It is a little less than an hour between them, Brian Head is closer to your other sites but if you are staying at Eagle Point, then just plan to ski there and get a package that includes lodging and skiing.

There are so many places around Moab to see. We'd suggest an extra day in the area, rather than a mad dash to Telluride for skiing.
Here are a couple video's we've done of the area. Hope you can find them useful!
