East Coast loop road trip from Oklahoma
My boyfriend and I (mid 30s) are planning an east coast road trip for 2013, traveling in the fall. He wants to see Georgia and I want to see South Carolina. Our interests are the beach, mountains, golfing, camping, history, beautiful scenery. The goal is to relax and wow our sight senses. We will be sleeping in a pop up camper. I would also like to see Asheville (Biltmore). And we are both interested in Nascar and MotorCross. So its a little bit of mountains, beaches, historical towns, sporting events, etc. With a few cocktails inbetween LOL. We are also music lovers- blues, rock, modern stuff.. Oh and maybe white water rafting, hot air ballooning, etc...
Suggestions on what to do, what to see, how to get there???
Thanks

Hello from a former Oklahoman.
Please tell me I'm reading this wrong, but it looks like you are doing this trip in only 6 days? I hope that isn't the case, otherwise there will be little to no time to see anything. I think Savannah and Charleston both deserve more than one night. I spent 4 days in Savannah and I'm sure there are things we missed.
Please give it some thought, and happy planning.

Welcome to Fodors travelbug. You have posted on "Travel Tips" Forum. It is very slow and is more for general travel topics (luggage, Travel insurance -those sorts of things). You will do better if you re-post over on the United States board (see the 'Change Forum' pull down menu)
But in general - your plane is more than ambitious.

OK - I'll try again: >>You will do better if you re-post over on the United States board (see the 'Change Forum' pull down menu)<<
I didn't post that just to blow smoke - If you actually want people to see your questions, you'll want to re-post.

You click that and re-post your questions as a new thread. Or - you can click the yellow triangle - that is a direct link to the monitors. You can ask them to move this thread over to the US board. Then you wouldn't have to start a new thread.
