You have indicated that you are posting a trip report of your travels that have already occurred.

For 2 weeks in the Yucatan with a car, try:
Cancun airport to Valladolid.
From Valladolid, day trips to Rio Lagartos, Ek Balam, & Chichen Itza (Or on the way to Merida) with cenotes in the afternoon.
On to Merida.
from there, Uxmal, Ruta Puuc, haciendas, missions
To Tulum via Coba
Possibly via Lake Bacalar as well (And do Coba as a day trip), depending on how much beach time you want in Tulum.
day trips from Tulum to Sian Ka'an, Akumal. Return to Cancun to fly out, stopping for last night in Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morelos.

We did a trip of similar duration a few years ago. We spent 4 days/5 nights in Merida, with a day trip to Celestun. Then we went to the Ruta Puuc area to see Uxmal and 4 of the smaller Ruta Puuc sites, staying 3 nights in Santa Elena. We visited Hacienda Sotuta de Peon along the way. After that, an overnight near Chichen Itza to see that site, Ek Balam, the town of Valladolid, and a cenote. Then 4 nights on the beach in Tulum. It was a very nice trip overall.

I strongly recommend that you consult either the Moon Guide or Rough Guide or both.

We did a trip about that length, too:
:: most of a week in Tulúm for Maya sites (try to get to Tulúm and Cobá right as they open to beat the heat and the crowds), flyfishing in Boca Paila, diving and snorkeling the reef, with sea turtles, and multiple cenotes - we rented a car in Tulúm for those days;
:: a few nights in Vallodolid for more cenotes, Ek Balám (loved it!) and Chichén Itzá (not so much, although 1st thing in the morning tour made it better than it would have been mid day) Maya sites, cute colonial city;
:: a few nights in San Felipe on the Gulf coast for tarpon fishing and flamingo tours;
:: 4 or 5 nights on Isla Mujeres to snorkel with whale sharks - amazing! The season goes into September so that would be an option in your time frame.

Here's a link to our photos and trip blog. Happy trails!
