Don't know the cheapest place to buy them but it is illegal to bring them into the US and if found, they will be taken and you could be fined. You might get by with it but not sure it is worth
the risk. Of course, if you are planning to smoke them there, no problem!

For the best selection of cuban cigars in the Banderas Bay, try La Casa el Habano in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Located at 170 Aldama St between Morelos and Juarez, this cigar shop is part of the Habanos SA global cigar network with over 140 stores worldwide. Besides having an amazing selection of authentic cigars (there are alot of fakes in Mexico)they have a comfortable smoking lounge with overstuffed leather chairs and a complete full service bar so you can order up your favorite smoke and drink. Some of the best mojitos and espressos in town! Their staff is very helpful and attentive and is always ready to make your stay in Vallarta a memorable experience.

Hand rolled long leaf cuban cigars are typcally expensive. However, you can enjoy cc at lower prices. Examples of these cc would be Jose L Piedra (strong raw tobacco using short filler or not whole leaf), Guantanamera as well as any cc that is wrapped inside clear cellophane. You can find thes "cheaper" cc versions at the local Casa del Habano in Vallarta. Fresh, on the other hand, is a function of the cigars shop humification control systems.
