Private cooking lessons/schools near Cancun?

We will be visiting Cancun in early January. My daughter and I would love to hear from anyone who's taken cooking lessons in the area. Thanks so much!

I have a number of friends that have gone here and really liked it. Puerto Morelos is worth a day trip too, very small and laid back but makes a nice change of pace from Cancun.

I was skeptical at first - I mean the menu is guacamole, quesadillas, salsa, etc???
But after reading the bios of the people involved the cooking school sounds and seems very professional.

The women I know that spent a day here made a lot more than guac and salsa!

Here's some more from a local.
