2 weeks in CR...ideas of what to do?

Hi! I have made many decisions for my honeymoon based on this forum, except we were just given two weeks at two different timeshares. So, considering the itinerary below, what are some day trips or other activities you would do?

Sept. 21-26 Villas Playa Samara (Playa Samara)

Sept. 26-27 Tabacon at La Fortuna/Arenal

Sept. 27-Oct. 4 Costa Blanca del Pacifico (Playa Hermosa)

Thanks so much! I look forward to the advice!

Sarah

For my honeymoon I would first put out the "Do Not Disturb" (Favor No Molestar) sign before I locked the door to our hotel room!

I will do that first, I promise! What else for the next two weeks? We are very active and look forward to exploring as much as we can. Thanks! Sarah

Hi Sarah, and welcome in paradise around sept. 27 and oct. 4....Costa Blanca is a very nice play to stay and the advantage is that you will be 10 minutes away from Coco beach (good shopping-restaurant-disco) and 20 minutes away from Playa Ocotal..good for snorkling also there is a restaurant on the bech name Father Rooster (a must) PLUS get yourselves spoiled by going at the Fusion Natural Spa in playa ocotal....for more infos if you like just e-mail me back, thank you and have gooood honeymooon, mychelle

Has anyone been to Rincon de la Vieja? If we are close by, but also going to Arenal, is this a must see? Sarah

Rincon de la Vieja is about 1 1/2 hrs from the resort with horseback riding, canopy tour, hiking, waterfalls and mud baths. You will enjoy Costa Blanca as it is mostly private rentals and is never too busy. Great views over the Gulf of Papagayo and close to Playa Hermosa and Playa del Coco.
