Where to wed in Panama???

I am trying to find a location for my destination wedding, and I have heard very good things about Panama. Idealy, I would like to find a mid- size hotel that we can completely book, and some other hotel options near by. I am guessing there will be about 45 guests and we are looking at late Feb. 09'. There are so many beautiful places to choose from, but I feel it many of them are not very accessible for a group of this size. I would appreciate any thoughts or words of advice.... Oh and staying in a high-rise hotel in Panama City is not very appealing to me.
Thank you,
Kate

Hmmm....I'm guessing Bocas del Toro area? Lots of hotel options.

Or, We stayed at Boutique Hotel Cala Mia in December and it would be INCREDIBLE for an intimate wedding....

There are other hotels nearby(5-10 min boat ride). It's on Isla Boca Brava on the Pacific side not far from David.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. That looks gorgeous, but was it hard to get there from Panama City?

We landed in PC at Tocumem Airport, stayed 1 night there then flew to David from Albrook Airport the next day.

Getting to Bocas involves a flight as well.

There are some large AI resorts on the pacific closer to PC that only involve 2 hour drives.....

You should check into www.losmandarinos.com. It is a very quaint and nice hotel. The food is excellent and it's about an hours drive from Panama City. It is also 30 minutes from Coronado. So some of your guests could stay at the beach in Coronado. But definitely you and your fiance would want to stay in El Valle at losmandarinos. From Coronado it's a curvy road that climbs a mountain and it situated in the Valley. The weather is very cool with a lot of overcast.

Hi!me again!Look at this site:

http://www.corazondelcielo.com/

My family and i we will move the next months to this incredible place.
We will fix the houses for lodgings(tourism).
This place like u see have an big restaurant, the location is wonderful for a wedding event.
The place of eternal spring is the more popular name for Volcan.
So there is other advice,BETTER! than Boquete,we will provide u of everything, transportation, every house have 4 bedrooms, enough for 45 guests.
Between Panama City and Volcan:7 hours driving
just 1 hour to fly until there(local airport ,good for a charter)old airport of U.S.
If u have any question, just let me know!!
