What are the names of your favorite; small-scale; moderately priced; boutique-like; beachfront Mexican accommodations? We enjoy La Paloma in Melaque. Coconuts by The Sea in Boca de Iguanas looks nice too (but we've never stayed there). We prefer places where we can do some of our own cooking. I've checked out several places such as Maroma, Casa de Mita, Ana Y jose Cottages, but I can't get over the cost of these places. Guess I'm just behind the times, but there must be other affordable places out there.

I really like La Quinta de Las Acacias in Guanajuato. There are some deals to be had on-line on occasion.
