Westin or Hilton in Los Cabos?

Hi-
I am trying to decide between the Westin and Hilton in Los Cabos for Feb 2007. The rates are similar but I wondered if anyone had been to either recently and could give me some feedback.

Will be heading down to the Hilton next week and will post a review on the Trip Advisor web-site soon after our return on 12/06. Plan on taking lots of photos of the resort which will also be available. The only thing I know right now is the beach at the Westin is sometimes not safe for swimming (currents and surf conditions), while the beach at the Hilton is one of the safest in Los Cabos (have stayed next door at the Melia Cabo Real several times).

Have stayed at the Westin several times, the architecture is superb and it's a very nice place but it's closer to San Jose than to Cabo, so a bit of a ride each time into town. The beach isn't very good for swimming (fairly rocky) but they have several spectacular 'infinity' pools where most of the guests prefer to swim.

Haven't stayed at the Hilton so can't compare directly.

We stayed at the Hilton over spring break and liked it. Our room was really nice, with a terrific view. We never actually used the beach, however, because the warning flags were up.
