Weddings - Cozumel

Please respond if you are aware or have had a wedding in Cozumel. Can you give some specifics and the hotel you stayed and married in. I am looking for an all inclusive hotel to accommodate a wedding party and friends. Preferably a garden or gazebo form of wedding for the ceremony. Has any one stayed at the Iberostar in Cozumel and/or the Allegro. Would these hotels be suitable for a wedding.

I don't know about Cozumel but I have a suggestion for a great place to marry in the Mayan Riveria! It is called the Aventura Palace it is located right near Playa del Carmen, and a quick ferry ride over to Cozumel. The rates are very good, it is an adults only resort, and all inclusive you stay in 1 resort and play in all 7 for free! and they have wonderful weddings! I just sent someone there and she got married in early June! I can give you her email address and you can speak with her. In the meantime, check out my website and see if you like it!
www.get-me.to/cancun

Here is another website too
www.destined.to/aventura
Betty: I am a wedding consultant and I know for a fact that the Allegro has an awesome kid's program, is all-inclusive and also has an excellent wedding package and would definitely be suitable for a beautiful wedding. If you would like, I would be more than happy to assist you in making your arrangements. I have contacted the hotel directly and am waiting for them to send me this updated price list for such services. I also have a list of the legal documentation necessary.

I look forward to hearing from you. Hi Jen,

Thanks for responding. It appears that the Iberostar in Cozumel is the choice of the bride and groom. Can you provide me with any details regarding this hotel (eg. is it suitable for a wedding, is there a specific wedding site on the property?/). Your response would be appreciated. No positive comments have been received regarding the Allegro - seems it needs major renovations.

Betty
