Water temps. near Rio in August?

Is the water warm enough to snorkel in August, off Buzios beaches? Maybe the water temp doesn't fluctuate much there? Certain beaches better than others?
I read the air temps can be up to 80F, and water temps up to 20C, but I'm not sure how that equates to comfort level in the water. Anyone have experience there? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but I couldn't find Rio and vicinity on that website.
I'm still wondering about the water temp...
Anyone know?
