WE loved Rafiki. I think the family enjoyed this spot the most. First, it is very remote so you spend your time with the guests that are staying at Rafiki. YOu get to know them as they are few in number, as well as the owners. Since we met people from South Africa, Netherlands and Norway..(free spirits) I think it was really interesting to hear about everyone's travels as well as their lives. The tents were comfy and the bathroom was top notch. We had a deck that the tent was built on so we could playcards overlooking the mountains and valley. When we were not rafting or horseback riding (the kids did the horseback riding) we just relaxed in the hammocks, rocking chairs, played cards and chatted. Everyone hung out in the main outdoor lodge, where they served meals, had a bar. There is a frisbee disc golf course that my son and husband did, a very fast water slide with a dunk in a pool and other trails to hike. Email me and I can send pictures if you like. The owners are great!
