Oh, wow, a hummingbird? That is a really cool photo.

I heard they are auditioning a new Fantana. Maybe you could audition and then get them to film all your commercials at BdC!

Tully, I loved all your pictures from the Osa. We hiked in Corcovado 2 years ago, but only saw tracks of a tapir and her baby - it is fantastic you got to see the animal. In April '10 we stayed at BdC, great place, fantastic hiking and all. One evening just after supper somebody discovered a fur de lance just beside the walk. Of couse everybody headed there - the snake must have been at least 5 foot - amazing. Philipp, the naturalist, captured her and took her off the property. My husband and I had done the night tour with Philipp and walked over the same area just an hour or two earlier. Guess you never know what you might encounter on the Osa. It is truly a enchanted place and your pictures do it justice.

Welcome back and nice pictures tully.

I tried to assure everyone you were doing okay in Osa even with all the rain that came for a while.

CoFieldHerper-

I hate to jump on someone else's thread but I would love it if you could identify the crazy looking caterpillar in the pictures on my thread (use the second link). I googled its description every which way I could and still came up empty...

Thanks,
odie1
