Tours to Iguazu from BA. Help-Scarlett !!!

We are making travel arrangements to go to Buenos Aires this coming Dec. We would like to purchase an all inclusive fly tour to Iguazu from BA which will include seeing the falls from the Argentina & Brazil sites. Can someone refer me to a reliable local agent? I am researching fly & hotel to BA through Expedia, which appears to have the lowest prices(unless you have other suggestions)but they cannot combine the trip to the falls. We will be in Argentina from 12/26 to 1/3/09. Thanks in advance for any input.

Write Isabel in the search feature and you'll find several threads, such as "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" in which happy customers sing the praises of the independent local travel agent whose services I usually suggest using.

Have a great time in our country.

Yes, I can suggest Isabel as well, she is helping right now with my October trip. I can also say - book early! She finally got LAN flights today I wanted to Iguazu but we are waiting for the Sheraton to come thru, so I can only imagine at Christmas it will be very booked.

Contact Cintia Stella of WOW! Argentina <[email protected]>. She can arrange this for you. You can check out their web site at <http://www.wowargentina.com/>.

On our trip last year, we found her to be very professional and very attentive to our trip details! I'd gladly use her again.

I would have had to suggest that you wait for someone else to give you this advice lol.
I have no experience with travel agents at all..

rh28rh: since you have not yet acknowledged these answers, I'll "send to the top" for you the "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" thread. There are many similar ones.

Thanks(Muchas gracias)to all of you for your time and advice. I will follow through.

Also, I read in another link an advice from someone who says she gets better airfares to BA through a "wholesaler". I do not know. Is this like buying from Expedia, Priceline, ect or what entity? If you know, please let me know.

It is under "Buenos Aires Trip Review" posted on 5/18.
It is a reply from Graziella5b. She does not explain "wholesalers", that is why I am asking for a better lead. Would like to explore this possibility of cheaper fares.

We used travel agent Cintia at www.wowargentina.com
for our trip which included Iguazu Falls. We were very satisfied and would use her again.
One of the big "helps" she provided was keeping us regularly updated when flights (we flew on Lan Chile and Aerolineas Argentinas)were re-scheduled and even cancelled. Evidently these changes are quite frequent. We stayed four days at the Sheraton Falls Hotel and wished we had stayed longer. It is so incredibly beautiful. Bring LOTS of film.

rh28rh: about your "wholesalers" question, Graziella5b answered: "I buy my tickets at Vista South America in Miami, I deal with Ruby she is the Sales Manager. Their phone is 305 266 3029 I am sure their web site can be googled. I always got good prices there."
