Tennis in Costa Rica

My husband and I are planning a trip to the Northern/Central Pacific coast to experience the adventures and nature of Costa Rica. BUT my husband is an avid tennis player and wants to play while we are there.

I've exhausted my search my finding only a handful of hotels/resorts that offer tennis. Can anyone suggest any hotels that are not outrageous resorts prices? OR any suggestions where he can play tennis locally?

Many thanks for any tips or suggestions!

Try having your husband googling on "tennis in Costa Rica." There are some hotel lists and other things of interest coming from such a search.

The only places I know of are high-end spots like the Four Seasons. Tennis isn't very popular in CR.

Paradisus Playa Conchal has four courts. There is no program there, but the golf pro shop has balls. We have used the courts. They were in pretty good condition - hard.

Parador has a tennis court but it doesn't look like it gets used much.
