Tambo tours in Peru?

Has anyone used Tambo Tours to go to Peru, including MP and Cusco? If not, other companies recommended for a family?

Yes, we used Tambo Tours Feb. 2005 for our trip to Peru. They made great suggestions for hotels and everything was great. This is not a guided tour but we were met along the way and had no trouble getting around.

Dilen,
Thanks - when you say you were "met along the way" do you mean in Lima? What transportation or transfers did they help with, and was that worthwhile? Thanks!

We flew into Lima and connected the same day to Cusco. We were met there at the airport and taken to our hotel. We were picked up at the hotel for tours and the train from Ollaytaytambo (where we spent the night) to MP. We returned to Cusco and went by bus to Lake Titicaca the flew back to Lima. We were picked up at the airport in Lima and taken to our hotel (Swisshotel) The driver offered to pick us up later that day and take us for a tour of Lima and then to a restaurant where he waited for us then back to the hotel They picked us up the next day for the trip back to the airport and our flight home. I felt safe and very happy with the service they provided.
