Tamarindo and 3 More Days
My wife and I will be spending 3 days with other family in Tamarindo. We'll then have 3 days to go elsewhere. We're looking for suggestions on what to do while in/around Tamarindo and where to go for the next 3 days.
We'd like to try a zipline/canopy tour, love nature.
Thanks.

We really liked Arenal - it's the area with the active volcano - very cool to see the lava flowing. There's SkyTrek ziplines there and also natural hot springs. Our favorite thing was Cano Negro - a tour that takes a boat ride down the river to see capuchins, howlers, sloths, and loads of birds - really fun!
If you love nature, the Osa is really amazing. You can see all the wildlife right from your front porch. We stayed at Bosque del Cabo and thought it was great.

No apology necessary, novicetripper!
I would second volcanogirl's recommendation of Arenal as your other destination. It's a pretty easy add-on to Tamarindo and a really wonderful location in it's own right.
The Osa Peninsula would be fantastic as well; perhaps just a bit more effort to get to for your 3 days...
